Elijah Freeland was born into the sport, his grandfather Russ kicked it off and when he was just weeks old he attended a race at Lincoln Park Speedway to watch his father race. His Uncle Ryan Freeland also competes.

First race: Ben Hur Speedway at six years old. Spent five years in karts scoring 28 wins. He helped Ed Wooward and his Uncle Russ dial in a race-ready Marvin Burton Super Stock. When a new car was added to the stable Elijah was offered to go racing as long as he could pay the bills. He took his first heat race at 15 years old and finished 9th in points. In 2023 a new car produced some headaches, but he still posted six top ten finishes and ended the year 10th in season points.

Racing accomplishments: 2022 Super Stock Rookie of the Year 9th in points 1 top 5, 8 top 10s
2023 Super Stocks 10th in points, 6 top 10s

Goals in 2024 – run the entire Lincoln Park Season and obtain driver’s license.

Hometown: Roachdale, In Birthday 1/19/1988
Education: North Putnam High School, Ivy Tech (Applied Science)
Occupation: Stifflers chassis and suspension in Mooresville Indiana

After college took out a loan to by his first car and started at Lincoln Park Speedway in 2006. In 2007 he raced at Vermillion Couty Raceway in Illinois noting “I decided I was going to race in Illinois because I didn’t want to embarrass myself at home anymore.” By 2015 he was having success in the United Stock Car Alliance finishing in the runner-up position and scored his first win at Lincoln Park. The rest is history.
